Ensure your LPG subsidy in bank, and prevent its misuse

To be launched in 54 districts on 15th November 2014 and Rest of India on 1st January 2015

If you had joined the previous DBTL scheme and had got the advance / subsidy in your Bank Account then - You don't have to do anything again.

About the DBTL Scheme

  • Consumers will need a bank account to join the scheme and receive LPG subsidy.
  • Consumers will also get a onetime permanent advance in their bank account prior to buying the first market priced LPG cylinder.
  • Consumers will receive subsidy in their bank account as per their entitlement of subsidized cylinders.
  • Till consumers join the scheme they will get cylinders at:

    * Subsidized price for 3 months w.e.f. 15.11.2014 till 14.02.2015.

    * Market price for next 3 months, but the subsidy due will be given to them if they join the scheme within these 3 months i.e. till 14.05.2015.
  • With effect from 15.05.2015 all LPG consumers will get cylinders at market price and only those who join the scheme will receive one time permanent advance & subsidy from the date of joining.
  • To join the scheme and receive subsidy, consumers should use, Option 1 if they have Aadhaar Card and Option 2 only if they don't have Aadhaar Card:
    If you have Aadhaar you have to use Primary Option 1 - Aadhaar based Cash Transfer

    • Link your Aadhaar Number to your bank account by filling Form 1* and depositing at bank branch / drop box at LPG distributor.
    •  Link your Aadhaar Number with your LPG Consumer Number in any one of the following ways:

      By Hand: Submit Form 2* to the LPG distributor. OR

      Via Call Center: Call 1800-2333-555 and register the Aadhaar Number. OR

      Through Web: At www.rasf.uidai.gov.in. Click on Start Now and follow the procedure

    Only if you don't have Aadhaar you can use secondary Option 2- Non-Aadhaar Cash Transfer

    • Submit your bank account details:

      By hand: In Form 4* to your LPG distributor, OR

      On Web: Log on to www.MyLPG.in and enter your bank account details there. OR

      Submit your LPG Consumer ID details in Form 3* to your bank branch (only at select bank **)

      Form 1, 2, 3 and 4 are hosted at www.myLPG.in and are also available with the distributor

      Lord Hanuman Gets Aadhaar Card

      Hindu God Lord Hanuman gets issued Aadhaar Card Number in the state Rajasthan, it seems Lord Hanuman have enrolled himself for Aadhaar Card and he was lucky enough to get his Aadhaar Card Number generated in his name. But the postman was unable to deliver Lord Hanuman Ji’s Aadhaar Card Address as the operator who had enrolled Lord Hanuman Ji for Aadhaar Card had given his address and mobile number.

      The Postman and Post Staff were shocked after seeing the Aadhaar Card of Lord Hanuman Ji. And when the Postman Heera Lal and Staff Members of Post from Dantaramgarh tried to call up the mobile number his number was coming as switched off, but any how that Postman tried to find out the Address and reached the person called Vicky Kumar but that person didn’t accepted the Aadhaar Card Letter giving reason that he had applied for Aadhaar Card three to four times but every time his fingerprints where not getting processed so that’s the reason he applied for Aadhaar Card in the name of Lord Hanuman Ji and gave his Address and mobile number.

      It was very surprising to see Lord Hanuman Ji had got issued 12 digit UIDAI Aadhaar Number 2094705195411 with his own picture enclosing Son of Pawan, but all the secret got revealed by the Aadhaar Card Operator Vicky Kumar that he was the one who enrolled Lord Hanuman Ji for Aadhaar Card.

      • Just provide the filled Aadhaar Application form with valid photocopies of documents self-attested to the Aadhaar Enrollment Operator.

      How much time does Aadhaar Number Generation process takes?

      Normally Aadhaar Card Number generating process takes 60 to 90 days in rare conditions it could even take long time due to amount of backlogs. If in case any errors or issues in the application during verification process your application might get rejected and will asked to re-enroll yourself. After Aadhaar Card number is generated the Aadhaar Card printing process might take 3 to 5 weeks and additional few weeks for the Aadhaar Letters to get delivered to your postal address by India Post.
