How to check Aadhaar status through SMS

To check the status of your Aadhaar , there are many option available . You can check the status of your Aadhaar online through the link https://resident.uidai.net.in/web/resident/check-aadhaar-status. Other option is sms or call Aadhaar Aadhaar customer care.  To check Aadhaar status through SMS, this is convenient to every body because in India every one will be having Mobiles.the steps to check status of Aadhaar Card is given below 

TYPE

UID STATUS <14 DIGIT EID>

and send it to
51969

For Example:- If your UID is 0206/50431/07972.
then Type in Message Box :- UID STATUS 02065043107972
And send it to 51969

Note- If you have lost the Acknowledgment Slip of Enrollment Number (EID) Number than you cannot check your Aadhaar Card Status.
